Seit der Installation „FOR FOREST – The unending Attraction of Nature“ von Klaus Littmann im Wörthersee Stadion 2019 sind sie international bekannt. Auch nach dem Projekt setzen sich FOR FOREST für mehr Umweltbewusstsein ein, geben dem Wald eine Stimme und werden dieses Jahr auch am Austrian World Summit teilnehmen. 10 Bäume die Teil des Projektes in Klagenfurt waren, werden 2021 Bestandteil unseres Ökosystem im Klima-Kultur-Pavillon werden.

Was ist Klima-Kultur für euch?

Klima-Kultur ist das Zusammenkommen von Menschen, die sich für das Klima & die Natur engagieren. Klima-Kultur ist aber auch das Zusammenkommen von Mensch & Natur, um nachhaltig zusammenzuleben. Klima-Kultur bedeutet, das Klima in allem was wir tun, mitzudenken.

Warum ist es so wichtig sich für unser Klima einzusetzen?

Unser Engagement bei FOR FOREST – The Voice for Trees gilt dem Waldschutz. Wälder sorgen für das Klima auf der Erde, sie sind unsere Lungen. Der verantwortungsvolle Umgang mit unserem Planeten ist alternativlos. Denn: Ohne Bäume kein Leben.

Was kann jeder einzelne/ jede einzelne für mehr Klima-Kultur tun?

Hinausgehen, die Natur beobachten. Aufmerksam werden. Sich informieren und anderen informieren. Diskutieren und verändern. Nicht warten, sondern handeln. Nur gemeinsam können wir die größte Herausforderung unserer Zeit meistern.

#1 For Forest to Climate Culture…

FOR FOREST has become internationally known with the installation “FOR FOREST – The unending Attraction of Nature” by Klaus Littmann in the Wörthersee Stadium 2019. Even now, after the project, they are actively campaigning for greater environmental awareness, giving the forest a voice and will also take part in the Austrian World Summit this year. 10 trees that were part of the project in Klagenfurt will become part of our ecosystem in the Climate Culture Pavilion next year.

What does climate-culture mean to you?

Climate-culture mobilizes people who commit themselves to climate & nature. Climate-culture also brings people & nature together so that they can live together sustainably. Climate-culture means to involve the climate in everything we do.

Why is it so important to stand up for the climate?

At FOR FOREST – The Voice for Trees, we commit ourselves to the protection of forests. Forests regulate the climate on earth, they are our lungs. Dealing responsibly with our planet is the only way, for there can be no life without trees.

What can each and every one of us do for more climate-culture?

Go out and observe nature. Pay attention to what is around you. Inform yourself and inform others. Discuss and change things. Don’t wait, act. We can only overcome the greatest challenge of our time.
