New Austrian Architecture is an exhibition, curated by itinerant office, that casts light on six emerging Austrian architects, each of them introducing representative projects and speculations on the theme of responsibility. The exhibition includes a selection of projects by Breathe Earth Collective, Juergen Strohmayer, materialnomaden, Some Place Studio, Studio Jakob Sellaoui, TAB.
Breathe Earth Collective shows in this exhibition its unpublished proposal for the invited the YAP – international architecture competition at MAXXI in Rome (2019). A proposal how to bring the vernacular principles of a ‘graduation tower’ (wall system with driping salt water) into a permanent urban installation in public spaces.
